IS YOUR FOOD EATING YOUR WORK?

Dear Balarishi,
We plan to do so many things. But are unable to accomplish them. Either something stops us from proceeding further,or some mood swing takes over. How do we deal with this?

If you see your own ideas suffocating due to lack of action or lapse in action, it is high time you take stock of the density of discipline in your lifestyle. Here discipline refers to the quality of your lifestyle, food habits and so on.

If you see some emotional disturbance altering your thought process you must see from where these disturbances originate. Food plays an important role in determining your moods and feelings. For instance if you can see anger taking over suddenly, it could be the influence of the food you took the day before or few days before.

Being angry, feeling irritated, feeling lethargic, getting easily confused are all different states of mind which could be either due to overloading of food or the nature of the food you took.

Some would have very good life habits but will be very inconsistent in keeping them up.Some would go for a walk for some days and will stop for no reason. Some will do yoga practices for some days and stop without a reason. Some would decide to give up junk foods but will not be in a position to resist temptation for a long time. Just analyze these situations. What made them to start and what made them to stop?

If a person is commencing a good deed, it comes out of a certain clarity but the same person fails while implementing it.There is a major barrier between thought process and implementation. Many assume that they do not have either the clarity or conviction to carry it further and give up what they undertook. But it is closely associated with their food habits as what all people do in their lives are interconnected.

So,if you want to start a day afresh, the efforts towards this starts from planning the dinner of the previous day. You should have an early dinner with a major portion of fresh fruits. As individuals have different thought process and individuality food also has its own nature and character.

Society brands a person to be either good or bad by seeing his thought process. Similarly food can also induce wrong moods and disturb your ability and clarity. When you are able to see at times you think in one way and act in some other way, just be aware of your food habits and consciously correct it.
