ROLE OF FINE ARTS IN BUSY LIFE

Sri Balarishi inaugurated a fine arts association named Thaai Madi, pioneered by the renowned poet Mrs.Andal Priyadarshini. After releasing the logo, Sri Balarishi delivered her inaugural remarks)

Thaaimadi which means the lap of mother signifies comfort and security. Fine arts and literature should be the lap of a mother for a human. All fine arts have expression as their base. Some expressions need to be understood logically. Some expressions are based on experience. Trying to interpret the experiential aspects logically or trying to experience the logical aspects might lead to confusion as far as art and literature are concerned.

For instance, a musical composing will have its notations. If a person sees those notations he cannot interpret the notations logically. He has to experience the music when it is expressed by a renowned musician. So, this clarity is needed when you try to have access a work of art.

When it comes to the life of youngsters today, they accomplish many materialistic heights within their thirties which once used to be within one`s reach in his fifties.
Due to this stressful lifestyle, their expressions are non constructive. They manifest as stress, anger and tears. Fine arts would be the best means for them to express themselves constructively and creatively. So, fine arts are the lap of the mother not only for creative people but also to those who can admire fine arts.

Any literary movement should try to make this come true in the experience of the people and I pray and wish that this organisation should accomplish this responsibility.
