A LITTLE BIT OF AWARENESS !!!

Dear Balarishi,

You elaborate on so many things which we admire but find difficult to catch up with.Either to at least come to understanding terms with spiritual practices,can you give us some doable  tips so that we can get a taste of it?

 
 
 
Spirituality seems to be a difficult thing but it is actually the most simplest thing.But you need to get more of experience and not explanations.Just because many  refuse to experience i decided to explain.I am happy that you are asking for some experience now.
 
Body mind and karma are three important aspects.If body is not keeping good,it affects the thought process and your mind.Similarly any unease in mind like suppression or anxiety it comes out as some disease in body.These are supported by the karmic structure.
 
If you want  to come out of these,you need a Guru. But in case you do not have the proper situation to seek a Guru, you can opt for some simple practices.

There are certain initial practices which would keep you vibrant,optimistic and balanced throughout the day.But the secret of maintaining that spirit is doing the practice everyday.If you do it every day,you will feel relaxed and composed  for a day or so.when you stop doing it you come back to square one.Let us see two such practices.

People know that they breath but many are not aware of their breath.Before getting into formal practices you can start with a small effort.May be for a ten minutes, you can be aware of your regular inhaling and exhaling of air.When you inhale,be aware of its travel through your nostril to your lungs.Just see what happens to your inner organs like heart and lungs by just observing & without straining. By this you will unleash the energy in you as  well as the energy you receive by breathing.

 Similarly you can calmly sit somewhere and  do some chanting.You can chant a manthra. It can be a repeated chant and you can observe some inner peace settling down.The manthra helps you to come out of the negative thought process.The repetition improve your awareness . Chanting of manthra should be minimum of  54 to 108 times, it is a set of practice. With regular practice you will see a difference in your lifestyle,habits. In a given time your attitude towards life will change for good.
 
By seeing how nice impact these simple practices have on you,then you can imagine how wonderful is the essence of spirituality.You are asking for a taste of spirituality.But these small steps towards spirituality are appetizers and will add fuel to the joy to experience spirituality.
